2. Field Commissioning & Operating Guidelines

  1. Maximum Floor Surface Temperature: To protect floor finishes (such as engineered wood or vinyl) and maintain foot comfort, surface temperatures in occupied areas must not exceed 84°F (29°C).
  2. Pressure Testing SOP: Before pouring concrete or screed, PEX tubing manifolds must undergo hydrostatic or pneumatic pressure testing at 100 psi (6.9 bar) for 24 hours to verify joint integrity.
  3. Flow Balancing: Manifold loop flow rates must be balanced using visual flow meters to achieve identical temperature drops ($\Delta T$) across varying circuit lengths.
