Getting started
Use team and organization accounts
How to manage your ACLogics team at team.aclogics.com — create an organization, manage billing, invite or remove users, adjust seats, and get setup help.
ACLogics supports both individual (Personal) accounts and shared (Organization) environments. If your shop or company runs an ACLogics Team account, all team and billing management happens in the team admin portal.
1. Manage your team at team.aclogics.com
All organization and billing management is handled in the team admin portal:
Sign in with the email address tied to your ACLogics account. From the portal an organization owner or admin can:
- Create a new organization for your shop or company.
- Manage billing — payment method, invoices, plan changes.
- Invite users to join the organization by email.
- Pause or remove users when a technician is on leave or leaves the company.
- Increase or decrease seats as your team grows or shrinks.
- Update organization details like name, logo, and admin contacts.
[!TIP] Need help getting set up? If your company would like a hand creating the team or configuring billing, email team@aclogics.com and a dedicated team member will walk you through it.
2. Roles: Admin vs Technician
Every member of an organization has one of two roles:
| Role | What they do | Where they work | Uses a seat? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Admin | Creates the org, manages billing, invites/pauses/removes users, adjusts seats, sets org details. | team.aclogics.com (admin portal) | No — admins are free and do not count against your seat total. |
| Technician | Runs diagnostics, logs jobs, generates reports, and does day-to-day field work under the organization. | ACLogics mobile / desktop app | Yes — each technician occupies one seat. |
- Only admins can perform team management actions (billing, invites, seat changes, pausing or removing users). Technicians do not see the admin portal.
- Admin seats are unlimited and free. You can promote as many people as you need to share billing and user-management duties without affecting your subscription cost.
- One account = one role. A single login cannot be both admin and technician. If a shop owner needs to manage the team and do field work, they should use two separate accounts — for example, one signed in with email for admin work, and a second account signed in with Apple/iOS login (or a different email) for technician work in the app. The technician account occupies one seat; the admin account is free.
- You can change a member’s role at any time from team.aclogics.com.
3. Billing is processed by Stripe
Team and organization subscriptions are billed through Stripe, our payment processor. (Personal accounts use Apple in‑app purchase instead — Stripe does not apply to individual plans.)
- Payment methods: Credit and debit cards, plus any local methods Stripe supports for your country (ACH, SEPA, etc., where available).
- Where to pay: All checkout, card updates, plan changes, and invoice downloads happen inside team.aclogics.com under Billing. Team plans are billed as a recurring subscription (monthly or annual), and you’ll be handed off to Stripe’s secure hosted pages for sensitive steps.
- Receipts and invoices: Stripe emails a receipt for every successful charge. PDF invoices for the organization are available in the Billing section of the admin portal.
- Tax and VAT: Stripe automatically calculates and displays applicable tax based on your billing address. Add your VAT/Tax ID in Billing so it appears on invoices.
- Failed payments: If a charge fails, Stripe will retry automatically and notify the billing contact by email. Update the card at team.aclogics.com before access is paused.
- Cancellations: Cancel the subscription anytime from the admin portal — access continues until the end of the current billing period. For billing questions, email team@aclogics.com.
[!IMPORTANT] ACLogics never sees or stores your full card number. Card data is handled directly by Stripe, which is PCI‑DSS Level 1 certified.
4. Switching account contexts in the app
When you have been added to an organization, the mobile app lets you toggle between your personal dashboard and your company’s workspace:
- Tap your Account Badge in the top navigation bar.
- Select the desired context (Personal or your Organization name).
- Wait a moment for the app to refresh usage counters, histories, and cached offline settings.
[!WARNING] Always verify which account is active before starting diagnostic work in the field. Jobs logged to a personal profile cannot be automatically merged into an organization profile.
5. Accepting a team invitation
Invitations are tied to the email address your admin invited:
- Accept by email: Open the invitation on your mobile device and tap the confirmation link, or accept directly from the in-app notification badge.
- Sign in with the invited email: You must sign in using the exact email address the invitation was sent to.
- Troubleshooting: If the invitation fails, ask your administrator to confirm the invitation has not expired and that the email matches your account, and check that your device has internet access.
6. Data ownership and privacy
Data created in ACLogics is isolated based on the active account profile at the time of creation:
| Account Type | Data Owner | Visibility and Permissions |
|---|---|---|
| Personal Account | Individual Technician | Visible only to you. Not visible to companies or administrators. |
| Organization Account | The Company / Shop | Visible to team administrators, dispatchers, and managers per company configuration. |
[!IMPORTANT] Diagnostic histories, equipment measurements, field notes, and customer reports created under an organization profile remain the property of that organization. Personal data stays completely separate.
7. Leaving an organization
If you leave a company or transfer to another shop:
- Access revocation: Once an admin removes you from the organization (or pauses your seat) at team.aclogics.com, you immediately lose access to the company’s shared history, active diagnoses, and saved reports.
- Data retention: All work created under the organization context stays with the company’s account.
- Before you go: Export any personal records, training logs, or permitted reports to your personal device, in line with your company’s information policies.
