Never Squint or Retype Model Numbers Again
Built for dark attics, blinding rooftop glare, and greasy mechanical rooms.
Eliminate Manual Typing Errors
Mistyping an '0' for an 'O' or '1' for 'I' ruins parts ordering. ACLogics optical character recognition parses exact alphanumerics with automated check-digit validation.
Automatic Customer Equipment Library
Every scanned unit is saved with GPS timestamp, customer address, and historical diagnosis logs in your local SQLite database.
Clean Documentation on Invoices
Model numbers, serial numbers, tonnages, and manufacturing dates automatically populate your PDF diagnosis reports and customer receipts.
Nameplate OCR & Tonnage FAQ
Does the camera scanner require cell reception or internet?
The core model tonnage decoder and cached brand logic run 100% offline. Live photo AI parsing utilizes lightweight local edge OCR combined with cloud models when internet connection is available, caching results immediately.
How does ACLogics determine the equipment manufacturing date?
Each major manufacturer embeds manufacturing dates into serial numbers differently (e.g. Carrier uses first two digits for week and next two for year; Trane uses the first two digits for year and week; Goodman uses year and month prefix). ACLogics detects the brand and applies the appropriate decoding algorithm.
Can I scan commercial RTUs and chillers?
Yes. The scanner supports residential split systems, gas furnaces, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, commercial packaged rooftop units (RTUs), and light commercial chillers.
